Migrating to other countries has been one of the most sought-after options among Filipino families in search of what is referred to as the “greener pasture.” Many Filipinos are understandably lured to the idea because of the fact that life has become more difficult these days in the Philippines, while countries like Canada, New Zealand, and Australia offer promising opportunities.

Understandably
Helpful
Here in the Philippines most all people, friends and even those you do not know are quite willing tolend items to anyone who is in need. A few good examples of this is if you are going to the store and can’t or don’t want to walk for some reason, someone will loan you a bicycle.
Even if someone or a family has no food to eat (it happens to many people here) for some reason. If the need is known, again, neighbors and even strangers are there to give whatever food or baby formula is needed. Or if out of food people will ask neighbors for some food to feed their families. Each time, the result is the same. Everyone helps everyone else.
Industrious
In abroad Filipinos are more honest because if you did wrong you will end up in jail or subject to deportation. Diligent, of course we should , for us to have our savings, to buy our needs, to send money in the Philippines, and for our better future, that's why Filipinos are hardworking, industrious, skillful, and everything. Name it! That's why I'm proud to be a Filipino.
Gratitude
Respectful
You will be condemned by the society if you put your grandparents or parents in a home for the aged. Regardless of how poor your family is, it is not only your obligation or responsibility to take care of your elders but your solemn vow to give them utmost respect and love. People with authority are always treated with respect. Government officials, politicians, private people occupying high positions in a corporation, lawyers, doctors and the police are always addressed with “sir” or “ma’am”.
God Fearing
Filipinos are God fearing. Regardless of whether he is a Catholic, Born-Again or of different denomination, Iglesia ni Cristo, Muslim or other religious affiliation almost 100% of the Filipinos believe in God. They believe in karma. In the saying that “thou shall not do to others, what you do not want others to do to you.”
Hard Working
Filipinos are hardworking. Ask any OFW 's. Aside from their regular jobs, they still earn extra income working as nannies, waiters, bartenders.Hardworking when motivated, resilient when tested. That is the Filipino spirit.
